Ferry kor kor should still be on the plane while I type this. Ferry is a distant cousin from Indonesia who had worked here as an architect last year. He is very brotherly towards my siblings and I. Whenever he is free, he would suggest places to go or to watch movies with us. Still, I do not feel really close to him. Maybe it is just the timing, whenever he asks me out, I will already have other arrangements with my friends. Anyway, he has left for Australia, Melbourne today. He is going there to find a job and he may probably stay there for a few years. I will definitely miss him disturbing my brother and him massaging for me. *sigh
Ferry kor kor: Bon voyage! You must not forget to buy me any koala-related products from Australia ya! Take care of yourself k! Oh…dun be so forgetful! (you owe me a treat for having me to rush to the airport to deliver your laptop) Will miss ya!
(Later today…)
I went to Parkway to meet up with some other choir members to discuss about the food for the barbeque on Friday, 18th June. I went there from the airport at about 4p.m. I was still late despite leaving early but I apologized to the just-recovered-from-fever Pei Ying. (To Pei Ying: I know you don’t like people being late and don’t apologise so here I am apologizing) The small bunch of us settled in Burger King and began our discussion. As the song goes, “it’s a small world after all…” We met Grace having tuition in BK and Paulus came to look for us in his err…’unglam’ purple shirt. After we finished our discussion, we agreed that it was time for our auntie instincts to take over so we went to Giant and checked out the prices for the food. After that, we had our dinner at the foodcourt and headed to Sam’s Pet Shop. (OMG!!! The papillon pup is soo…cute!!!) After that, some of us suggested to go to the beach to chill. So we headed for East Coast Beach and found a nice spot to sit. We sang our hearts out (at least I did) for about an hour or so, and then it was home sweet home via bus 15.
